The Role

As our Hostess, you are the face of [The One Cafe]. You provide the first and last impression of our brand. Your role is to manage the door with grace, handle the "flow" of the restaurant with precision, and ensure every guest feels anticipated and welcomed. You turn a simple entry into a high-end invitation.

Key Responsibilities

• The Welcome: Greet every guest with authentic warmth and a professional, polished demeanor.
• Reservation Management: Master our booking system to maximize table turn over without ever making guests feel rushed.
• Floor Control: Work closely with the Waiters and Supervisors to balance seating across different sections of the cafe.
• Waitlist Strategy: During busy or weekends, manage the waitlist elegantly, keeping guests engaged and informed.
• Guest Recognition: Remember the names and preferences of our "VIP Ritual" regulars to provide a personalized experience.
• The Final Touch: Bid every guest a warm farewell, ensuring their last memory of the cafe is as perfect as their first.

What We Are Looking For

• The Personality: Naturally charming, confident, and highly poised. You stay calm and smiling even when there is a line out the door.
• Experience: 1–3 years in a hostess role within luxury hospitality, high-end cafes, or 5-star hotels.
• Presentation: Impeccable grooming and a sophisticated sense of style that reflects our brand's luxury aesthetic.
• Communication: Fluent in English; Arabic is a significant advantage. You must be able to handle difficult situations (like long wait times) with extreme tact.
• Tech-Savvy: Comfortable using iPad-based reservation and POS systems.
