The Causeway Restaurant is seeking a friendly, dependable Host to join our team for the summer season. This seasonal position is ideal for someone who enjoys working with people, staying organized, and helping create a warm and welcoming guest experience.

What You’ll Do

• Greet guests warmly as they arrive
• Manage reservations, waitlists, and the flow of seating
• Answer phones and assist guests with questions
• Communicate clearly with servers, bartenders, and managers
• Help maintain an organized, welcoming front entrance and host stand
• Support smooth service by pacing seating thoughtfully
• Assist with light side work and front-of-house support as needed
• Help guests feel cared for from the moment they arrive

Schedule: Seasonal summer position with evening and weekend shifts. Flexible scheduling available. Evening and weekend availability is important, as those are our busiest service times. A typical schedule may include shifts on Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday, and Monday evenings, with the possibility of Sunday brunch hours depending on availability and business needs.

We are open to building a schedule that works well for the right candidate, and this role may be especially appealing to someone looking for flexibility.

Pay: $18 - $25/hour

Pay: $18.00 - $26.00 per hour
