Responsibilities

• Greet guests promptly and warmly upon arrival, creating a positive first impression.
• Manage reservation systems and waitlists efficiently using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS.
• Coordinate seating arrangements to maximize table turnover while maintaining guest comfort.
• Communicate clearly with guests regarding wait times and available seating options.
• Assist with maintaining cleanliness and organization of the host station and waiting area.
• Support guest relations by addressing inquiries politely and professionally, ensuring a memorable experience.
• Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow during busy periods.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Host or Hostess in food service or restaurant settings is preferred.
• Strong customer service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor.
• Excellent communication skills, including phone etiquette and guest interaction.
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is advantageous.
• Experience in hotel or hospitality environments is a plus.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced setting.
