Job Overview
We are seeking an energetic and welcoming Host to be the first point of contact for our guests, creating a lively and positive atmosphere from the moment they arrive. As a Host, you will play a vital role in ensuring exceptional guest experiences by managing reservations, guiding guests to their tables, and maintaining a vibrant, organized front-of-house environment. Your enthusiasm and excellent communication skills will help set the tone for an unforgettable visit, fostering guest satisfaction and loyalty.

Duties

• Greet guests warmly with genuine enthusiasm, making them feel valued and comfortable upon arrival
• Manage reservations and waitlists efficiently using Toast POS , providing accurate wait times and seating arrangements
• Coordinate with the serving staff to ensure smooth flow of guests from arrival to seating, maintaining a lively and organized front desk
• Answer guest inquiries via phone with professional phone etiquette, providing information about menu items, specials, or wait times
• Assist with guest relations by addressing concerns promptly and courteously to enhance overall satisfaction
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand area, ensuring a welcoming environment at all times
• Support team members during busy periods by communicating effectively and staying energetic

Experience

• Previous experience as a Host or hostess in food service or restaurant settings is highly preferred
• Strong customer service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor
• Experience with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is advantageous
• Background in hospitality or hotel guest services is a plus
• Excellent communication skills, including phone etiquette and guest relations expertise
• Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining a positive attitude during high-pressure situations
• Prior experience in serving or food service roles is beneficial but not required
