Duties

• Greet guests warmly with genuine enthusiasm and maintain a positive attitude throughout interactions
• Manage reservations and seating arrangements efficiently using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS
• Answer phone inquiries with professional phone etiquette, providing accurate information and assistance
• Coordinate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure smooth flow of guest seating and service
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand and waiting areas to uphold high standards of hospitality
• Assist with guest inquiries, special requests, and guest relations to enhance overall satisfaction
• Support team members during busy periods by providing excellent customer service and facilitating guest flow

Skills

• Proven experience as a Host or in a similar host/hostess role within food service or restaurant settings
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to handle diverse guest needs professionally
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with an emphasis on clear, friendly interactions
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for managing reservations and orders
• Previous experience in hospitality, hotel environments, or guest services is highly desirable
• Ability to handle phone inquiries confidently while maintaining professionalism and courtesy
• Knowledge of restaurant operations, serving etiquette, and guest relations principles
