As a Host, you will manage reservations, greet guests with warmth, and coordinate seating arrangements efficiently to ensure smooth operations. Duties

• Greet guests promptly with a friendly, energetic demeanor, making them feel valued and comfortable from arrival.
• Manage reservation systems and waitlists using POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS to organize seating efficiently.
• Coordinate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure timely seating and smooth flow of service.
• Answer guest inquiries over the phone with professionalism, providing accurate information about wait times, menu items, or special events.
• Maintain a clean and organized host stand area, ensuring all materials are stocked and presentable.
• Assist in managing guest relations by addressing concerns or special requests courteously and promptly.
• Support overall restaurant operations by communicating effectively with team members and ensuring guest satisfaction at every touchpoint.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Host or in a hostess/guest services role within food service or hospitality environments.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to engage confidently with diverse guests.
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is preferred.
• Experience in restaurant settings, including hotel or food service environments, is highly desirable.
• Excellent phone etiquette and guest relations skills to handle inquiries professionally.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude and attention to detail.
