Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly with genuine enthusiasm, making them feel immediately at home
• Manage reservations efficiently using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring smooth seating flow
• Coordinate with the dining staff to optimize table assignments and minimize wait times
• Answer guest inquiries over the phone with professionalism and clear communication, providing accurate information about wait times and menu options
• Maintain a clean and organized host stand, ensuring all materials are stocked and presentable
• Assist in managing guest relations by addressing concerns promptly and courteously
• Support the team during busy periods by providing excellent customer service and facilitating a positive dining experience

Qualifications

• Previous host/hostess experience or food service background preferred but not required; a passion for hospitality is essential
• Strong communication skills with an ability to engage confidently with guests and team members
• Experience with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus
• Knowledge of restaurant operations, guest services, and hospitality standards
• Excellent phone etiquette and guest relations skills to handle inquiries professionally
• Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
• Previous hotel or guest services experience is advantageous but not mandatory
