Duties

• Greet guests warmly with enthusiasm and genuine hospitality, making them feel at home
• Manage reservation bookings and waitlists efficiently using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS
• Escort guests to their tables, providing menus and answering initial questions about the menu or restaurant policies
• Coordinate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure smooth seating flow and timely service
• Maintain a clean, organized host stand and waiting area, ensuring a welcoming environment at all times
• Answer phone inquiries with professionalism, providing accurate information about wait times or reservations
• Assist with guest relations by addressing concerns promptly and courteously, ensuring a positive dining experience

Skills

• Proven experience as a Host or in a customer service role within food service or restaurant environments
• Strong communication skills with the ability to engage confidently with diverse guests and team members
• Knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is preferred
• Excellent phone etiquette and guest relations skills to handle inquiries professionally
• Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail
• Hospitality background, including hotel or guest services experience, is a plus
• Friendly demeanor combined with strong organizational skills to manage reservations and seating logistics effectively
