Job Overview
We are seeking an energetic and personable Host to create a warm, welcoming atmosphere for our guests. As the first point of contact, you will set the tone for an exceptional dining experience by providing friendly service, managing reservations, and ensuring smooth seating operations as well as helping clear the bar top. Your enthusiasm and excellent communication skills will help foster guest satisfaction and loyalty. Duties

• Greet guests with a friendly smile and positive attitude, making them feel valued from the moment they arrive
• Manage reservations and waitlists efficiently using Yelp
• Escort guests to their tables, providing menus and answering initial questions about the menu or restaurant policies
• Coordinate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure timely seating and smooth flow of service
• Maintain a clean, organized host stand and waiting area, ensuring guest comfort at all times
• Handle guest inquiries over the phone with professionalism and courtesy, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette
• Assist with guest relations by addressing concerns promptly and escalating issues appropriately to ensure satisfaction
• Help when needed to bus the Bartop

Experience

• Prior experience as a host or hostess in a food service or restaurant setting is highly preferred
• Strong customer service background with excellent communication skills and a welcoming demeanor
• Previous hotel or hospitality experience is a plus, especially in guest services or guest relations roles
• Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
• Experience with serving, hotel operations, or food service enhances your ability to anticipate guest needs
• Knowledge of restaurant operations, phone etiquette, and hospitality standards is desirable
