Job Title: Host

Reports to: General Manager / Assistant Manager

Status: Seasonal, Full-time, Hourly

Overview: The Host is responsible for greeting guests and explaining the concept if necessary. Additionally, the Host will maintain the overall cleanliness of dining areas.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Greeting guests at the door or patio entrance.
  • Seating guests.
  • Having a working knowledge of the concept, kitchen, and menu to assist with guest inquiries.
  • Assisting in clearing tables after guests vacate the space.
  • Assisting bussers with tasks as needed.
  • Periodically inspecting, cleaning, and restocking the restrooms.
  • Dealing with miscellaneous guest questions and concerns.
  • Ensuring our guests have a positive experience throughout their entire dining experience.
  • Be able to follow opening, transition, and closing procedures as indicated by handbooks and/or management.
  • Establish and maintain positive relationships/rapport with all guests.
  • Enforce the restaurant's policies and procedures as it relates to food service and guest experience, as well as other activities important to the operation of a restaurant.
  • Other duties as determined necessary by Ross Hospitality.

Pay: $13.00 - $14.00 per hour
