Job Overview:

We are seeking a friendly and welcoming Host/Hostess to join our team at a renowned restaurant. As the first point of contact for guests, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service and creating a positive dining experience.

Duties:

- Greet and seat guests in a timely and courteous manner

- Manage reservations and waitlists efficiently

- Provide menus and relay information about specials

- Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization of the host stand and lobby area

- Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure smooth flow of service

- Handle guest inquiries and resolve any issues promptly

- Uphold high standards of hospitality and guest relations

Requirements:

- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with guests, staff, and management

- Previous experience in a hotel or restaurant setting preferred

- Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction

- Familiarity with Toast POS or similar point-of-sale systems is a plus

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a professional demeanor

- Knowledge of hospitality industry practices and standards

- Flexibility to work varied shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays
