Host Position Overview
As a Host, you are the first and last impression of the guest experience. You’ll greet every guest with warmth and professionalism, manage seating flow, and ensure wait times are communicated clearly and accurately. This role is key to creating a welcoming, upbeat environment and setting the tone for an exceptional visit.

Responsibilities:

• Greet guests upon arrival with a positive attitude!
• Manage reservations, walk-ins, and seating charts using the Open Table system
• Communicate accurate wait times and answer basic menu or event questions
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand and front entry area
• Support servers and managers in keeping service flow smooth
• Handle guest concerns or complaints promptly and politely
• Help set up for special events or large parties as needed
• Clean, reset, and prepare tables as needed

Requirements:

• Friendly, outgoing, and confident demeanor
• Strong communication and multitasking skills
• Ability to stay calm and organized during busy shifts
• Weekend and evening availability is required
• Previous host or restaurant experience is a plus, but not required
