Duties

• Greet guests warmly upon arrival with a lively and positive attitude, making them feel instantly welcome
• Manage reservations efficiently using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, updating waitlists and seating charts
• Coordinate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure timely seating and smooth flow of service
• Answer guest inquiries via phone with professionalism and courtesy, providing accurate information about wait times or reservations
• Maintain a clean and organized host stand area, ensuring all materials are accessible and presentable
• Assist in managing guest relations by addressing concerns promptly and courteously to enhance overall satisfaction
• Support the team during busy hours by handling guest inquiries, managing waitlists, and providing exceptional customer service

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Host or in a similar customer service role within food service or hospitality environments preferred
• Strong communication skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse guests and team members
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is advantageous
• Experience in restaurant operations, guest services, serving, or hotel environments is highly desirable
• Excellent phone etiquette and guest relations skills to handle inquiries professionally
• Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail
• A friendly demeanor combined with strong organizational skills to manage reservations and seating arrangements effectively
