We are seeking a friendly and professional Host/Host to join our dynamic team in delivering exceptional guest experiences. As the first point of contact for our customers, you will play a crucial role in setting the tone for their visit. Your primary responsibility will be to warmly welcome guests, manage reservations, and ensure efficient seating arrangements while providing outstanding customer service in a fast-paced restaurant environment.

Duties

• Greet and welcome guests as they arrive, ensuring a positive first impression.
• Manage reservations and seating arrangements efficiently to optimize restaurant flow.
• Assist guests with inquiries about the menu, specials, and restaurant services.
• Maintain a clean and organized front-of-house area, including the host stand and waiting area.
• Communicate effectively with kitchen staff and servers to ensure timely service.
• Handle phone calls with professionalism, taking reservations or answering guest questions.
• Provide assistance to guests as needed, demonstrating excellent guest relations skills.
• Collaborate with team members to enhance the overall dining experience for all patrons.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in guest services or food service is preferred but not required.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to interact positively with guests and staff.
• A background in hospitality or restaurant settings is a plus.
• Excellent phone etiquette and customer service skills are essential.
• Ability to remain calm under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• A friendly demeanor with a passion for helping others is key to success in this role.
