Overview
We are seeking a friendly and professional Host/Host to join our dynamic team. As the first point of contact for our guests, you will play a crucial role in creating a welcoming atmosphere and ensuring an exceptional dining experience. Your ability to communicate effectively and manage guest expectations will be key to your success in this role.

Duties

• Greet guests warmly as they arrive and escort them to their tables.
• Manage the flow of guests in the restaurant, ensuring efficient seating and wait times.
• Provide menus and inform guests about daily specials or promotions.
• Maintain an organized waiting list and communicate wait times accurately.
• Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure smooth service.
• Handle guest inquiries and resolve any issues with professionalism.
• Utilize the Aloha POS system for reservations and table management.
• Uphold high standards of cleanliness and organization in the host area.

Experience

• Previous experience in customer service, hospitality, or food service is preferred.
• Familiarity with restaurant operations, including knowledge of POS systems like Aloha is a plus.
• Strong communication skills with an emphasis on phone etiquette when handling reservations or inquiries.
• A positive attitude and ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience in hotel or guest services can be beneficial but is not required.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
