Duties

• Greet guests warmly with genuine enthusiasm as they arrive, setting a positive tone for their visit
• Manage reservations and seating arrangements efficiently using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS
• Coordinate with the service team to ensure smooth guest flow and timely seating
• Answer phone inquiries with professional phone etiquette, providing accurate information and assistance
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand and waiting areas to uphold high standards of hospitality
• Assist guests with special requests or accommodations, demonstrating excellent guest relations skills
• Support the team during busy periods by managing waitlists and communicating wait times clearly

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Host or Hostess in food service or restaurant settings preferred
• Strong customer service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus
• Experience in hotel or hospitality environments is advantageous
• Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Knowledge of guest services, serving etiquette, and restaurant operations is desirable
