Host and Takeout Specialist

Compensation: $20/hr + tips
Bludso's BBQ in Santa Monica is seeking a friendly and organized Host and Takeout Specialist to join our team. As a Host, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing them with a warm welcome and ensuring a positive dining experience from the moment they arrive. You'll also prepare all takeout orders.

Responsibilities:

• Greet and welcome guests with a friendly and professional demeanor
• Communicate effectively with the kitchen and waitstaff to ensure efficient seating and table turnover
• Answer incoming phone calls and assist guests with inquiries. reservation requests, and takeout orders.
• Maintain knowledge of the menu, daily specials, and restaurant layout to effectively assist guests
• Ensuring takeout orders are packed accurately and ready in a timely manner.

Requirements:

• Wednesday and Thursday availability is a must.
• A Positive and outgoing personality with a genuine desire to provide exceptional customer service is the most important thing!
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
• Ability to remain calm and professional in high-pressure situations
• Flexibility to work mornings, weekends, and holidays
