Duties

• Greet guests with a positive attitude and genuine enthusiasm, making them feel at home from arrival to departure
• Manage reservations, walk-in guests, and waiting lists efficiently using yelp guest manager
• Coordinate seating arrangements to optimize table turnover while maintaining guest satisfaction
• Answer phone inquiries with professionalism, providing accurate information about wait times and restaurant offerings
• Assist with guest inquiries, special requests, and accommodate seating preferences whenever possible
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host/host station and waiting area
• Collaborate with servers, kitchen staff, and management to ensure smooth service flow and guest satisfaction

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a host/hostess in food service for this role is essential
• Strong customer service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor
• Excellent communication skills, including phone etiquette and guest relations
• Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Hospitality or hotel experience is advantageous but not required
• Knowledge of serving protocols and guest services enhances your candidacy
