Position Overview
RIKAS Hospitality Group is looking for a warm, professional, and guest-focused Hostess to join our new festive dining concept. The Hostess will be responsible for welcoming guests, managing reservations and seating flow, and ensuring a smooth and memorable arrival experience that reflects the energy and standards of the brand.
This role is ideal for someone with strong communication skills, a polished presentation, and a natural ability to create a welcoming first impression in a fast-paced, high-energy environment.
Key Responsibilities
Guest Welcome & Reception

Greet and welcome guests in a friendly, professional, and engaging manner.

Ensure every guest receives a warm first impression of the restaurant.

Escort guests to their tables in a timely and elegant manner.

Thank guests upon departure and ensure a positive final interaction.
Reservations & Seating Support

Assist in managing reservations, walk-ins, and waiting lists.

Support table allocation and seating arrangements as directed by the Head Hostess or Manager.

Ensure efficient guest flow to minimize waiting times and optimize seating capacity.

Update reservation systems accurately and in real time.
Guest Experience

Provide basic information about the menu, concept, and daily operations when required.

Assist guests with inquiries, special requests, or seating preferences.

Maintain a friendly, approachable, and attentive presence at all times.

Support in handling guest concerns and escalate when necessary.
Operational Support

Maintain cleanliness and organization of the reception and waiting area.

Ensure menus, guest materials, and host stand are always well-presented.

Follow opening and closing procedures for the hostess station.

Coordinate closely with the service team to ensure smooth operations.
Teamwork & Communication

Work closely with Head Hostess, service staff, and management.

Communicate guest flow updates and table status clearly and promptly.

Support the team during peak hours to ensure smooth operations.
Requirements

1–2 years of experience in a hostess or front-of-house role within hospitality.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Strong presentation and grooming standards.

Ability to remain calm and organized in a fast-paced environment.

Positive attitude and guest-oriented mindset.

Basic knowledge of reservation systems is an advantage.

Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus.

Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
