Hostess Cashier

Job Overview
We are seeking an energetic and friendly Hostess Cashier to join our vibrant hospitality team! In this dynamic role, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, creating a welcoming atmosphere while efficiently managing seating arrangements and cashier responsibilities. Duties

• Greet guests warmly upon arrival, providing a positive first impression of the establishment
• Manage reservation lists and seating charts to optimize guest flow and reduce wait times
• Answer phone inquiries with professionalism, providing accurate information about wait times and menu options
• Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS to process transactions accurately and efficiently
• Handle cash, credit card, and other payment methods with precision and attention to detail
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand area to ensure a welcoming environment
• Assist in guest relations by addressing questions or concerns promptly, ensuring a high level of guest satisfaction

Qualifications

• Previous host/hostess experience in a fast-paced restaurant or food service environment preferred
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and effectively
• Experience with restaurant POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is highly desirable
• Knowledge of food service operations and hospitality standards is a plus
• Excellent phone etiquette and guest relations skills are essential
• Ability to multitask efficiently while maintaining a friendly demeanor
• Prior experience in hotel or guest services can be beneficial but is not required
