Job Overview
We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Hostess Expeditor to join our dynamic hospitality team. In this vital role, you will serve as the welcoming face of our restaurant, ensuring guests are greeted warmly and seated efficiently. You will coordinate between the front-of-house staff and kitchen team to expedite guest orders, maintain smooth service flow, and uphold exceptional guest experiences. Responsibilities

• Greet guests promptly with a friendly demeanor and manage waitlist procedures
• Coordinate seating arrangements with hosts/hostesses and communicate effectively with servers and kitchen staff
• Expedite food orders by accurately relaying guest requests to the kitchen.
• Ensure timely delivery of food from kitchen to tables, maintaining high standards of presentation and quality
• Assist in managing guest flow during busy hours to minimize wait times and maximize seating efficiency
• Provide excellent guest service by addressing questions, resolving concerns, and maintaining positive guest relations
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand area, ensuring a welcoming environment at all times

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a host/hostess or in food service is preferred but not required; enthusiasm for hospitality is essential
• Strong communication skills with the ability to interact positively with guests, team members, and management
• Experience in guest services or serving is advantageous
• Excellent phone etiquette and guest relations skills to handle inquiries professionally
• Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail
• Knowledge of restaurant operations, food safety standards, and hospitality best practices is beneficial
