Job Description:
The Hostess is responsible for welcoming guests, managing reservations, and ensuring a smooth flow of service within the outlet. This role plays a key part in creating a positive first impression and delivering a warm, professional, and organized guest experience.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Greet guests warmly upon arrival and escort them to their tables
  • Manage reservations, waitlists, and table assignments efficiently
  • Maintain an organized seating plan to optimize table turnover and guest satisfaction
  • Answer phone calls, respond to inquiries, and handle bookings accurately
  • Communicate effectively with service staff to ensure smooth operations
  • Monitor dining area activity and adjust seating arrangements as needed
  • Ensure the entrance and reception area are clean, tidy, and presentable at all times
  • Provide guests with menus and basic information about the outlet
  • Handle guest concerns or complaints professionally and escalate when necessary
  • Maintain a friendly and professional demeanor at all times
Desired Skill & Expertise:
  • Previous experience in a similar role or customer-facing position preferred
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Ability to remain calm and professional in a busy environment
  • Customer-focused with a positive attitude
  • Professional appearance and grooming standards
  • Basic computer or reservation system knowledge is an advantage
  • Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends and holidays
