Hostess/Cashier

Overview
We are seeking a friendly and efficient Host/Cashier to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, ensuring they receive exceptional service from the moment they arrive. Your primary responsibilities will include managing guest seating, processing transactions, and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere. Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly as they enter the establishment and guide them to their seats.
• Manage the reservation system and ensure efficient seating arrangements.
• Process customer orders accurately using the Aloha POS system.
• Handle cash and credit transactions while maintaining a balanced cash drawer.
• Provide excellent guest services by addressing inquiries and resolving any issues promptly.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization at the host stand and dining area.
• Assist in coordinating takeout orders and ensure timely service for all guests.
• Communicate effectively with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations during busy periods.
• Uphold high standards of customer service and hospitality at all times.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in guest services or food service is preferred but not required.
• Strong communication skills with an emphasis on phone etiquette and guest relations.
• Familiarity with POS systems, particularly Aloha POS, is a plus.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• A positive attitude and willingness to help others are essential for success in this role.
• Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
