Host / Food Expeditor at City Barrel Pizza + Patio

Do people just randomly talk to you because you are friendly and have a warm smile, or do they just sense that you are a great human? Do you like problem-solving or organizational puzzles? Combine your warmth and solution-oriented mindset to make our guests feel comfortable and at ease! As a cross-trained Host and Expeditor, you are the crucial link between our front door, our dining room, and our kitchen.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Hosting: Greet and seat guests with enthusiasm, manage waitlists and reservations via Toast Tables, and provide top-notch customer service.
• Expediting (Expo): Act as the final quality check on dishes leaving the kitchen, organize food trays by seat number, and maintain clear communication between the front and back of house.
• Teamwork: Assist with running food, pre-bussing tables, and keeping the host, waiting, and retail areas clean and inviting.

What We're Looking For:

• A genuinely friendly personality and a great smile.
• Clear, confident communication and the ability to stay calm and solve puzzles in a fast-paced environment.
• Availability: Weekday evenings (Tues/Weds 4pm-9pm) and Weekends (Fri 12pm-8pm, Sat 12am-8pm, Sun 3pm-8pm).

The Perks:

• $17/hour + Tip-out (Averaging $18.50/hour).
• Part-time schedule (26-30 hours/week) with health insurance eligibility if averaging 30+ hours.
