Host/Hostess

As a Host/Hostess at Rita’s on the River, you’ll be the welcoming face of the restaurant—greeting guests with warmth, managing the flow of seating, and helping create a smooth and enjoyable dining experience from the moment guests arrive. Your role is key to setting the tone for exceptional service on San Antonio’s iconic River Walk.

Responsibilities:

• Greet all guests with a friendly and upbeat attitude
• Manage walk-ins through the waitlist system
• Seat guests efficiently and evenly throughout the restaurant
• Answer guest questions and provide accurate wait times
• Maintain cleanliness and organization at the host stand and entrance
• Assist with menu handouts and support other FOH staff as needed
• Communicate effectively with servers, bussers, and managers
• Provide outstanding customer service throughout every shift

Requirements:

• Friendly and professional demeanor
• Strong communication and people skills
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Must be punctual and reliable
• Willingness to work weekends, holidays, and during major downtown events
• Previous hosting experience is a plus, but not required

Compensation & Benefits:
