Duties

• Thoroughly clean and sanitize guest rooms, including beds, bathrooms, and common areas, ensuring all surfaces are spotless and hygienic
• Perform detailed floor care, including vacuuming carpets, mopping hard floors, and maintaining overall cleanliness of hallways and public spaces
• Restock amenities such as toiletries, linens, and supplies to ensure guest comfort at all times
• Conduct routine inspections of assigned areas to identify maintenance needs or safety hazards and report them promptly
• Use industrial cleaning equipment effectively to maintain high standards of sanitation in all areas
• Follow established janitorial procedures to uphold health and safety regulations within the hotel environment
• Assist with laundry duties when necessary, ensuring linens are clean, pressed, and properly stored

Qualifications

• Prior experience in hotel housekeeping or custodial work is highly preferred; familiarity with hospitality standards for the Holiday Inn Express is a plus
• Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques, floor care methods, and industrial cleaning equipment
• Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to delivering exceptional cleanliness standards
• Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
• Good physical stamina to stand for extended periods, lift heavy items, and perform repetitive tasks comfortably
• Basic understanding of health and safety protocols related to janitorial and custodial work
• Previous experience in hospitality or housekeeping management is advantageous but not required
