Hotel Housekeeper

In this vital role, you’ll be responsible for maintaining the highest standards of hygiene and comfort across guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces. Responsibilities

• Thoroughly clean and sanitize guest rooms, bathrooms, corridors, and public areas according to established standards.
• Change bed linens, make beds, and replenish amenities to ensure guest comfort.
• Perform floor care tasks including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and polishing to maintain a clean environment.
• Handle janitorial duties such as trash removal, surface cleaning, and disinfecting high-touch areas to promote hygiene.
• Maintain cleaning equipment and supplies inventory, ensuring all tools are in excellent working condition.
• Follow safety protocols during cleaning procedures to prevent accidents and ensure a safe workplace.
• Assist with special cleaning projects such as deep cleans when required by management.

Skills

• Proven experience in cleaning, custodial work, or janitorial services within a hotel or hospitality setting preferred, not required.
• Ability to operate cleaning equipment safely and efficiently.
• Excellent attention to detail with a proactive approach to maintaining cleanliness standards.
• Good physical stamina for standing, bending, lifting, and performing repetitive tasks throughout shifts.
