Duties

• Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, including making beds, dusting surfaces, vacuuming carpets, and sanitizing bathrooms to ensure hygiene standards are met.
• Maintain cleanliness of public spaces such as lobbies, hallways, elevators, and recreational areas by sweeping, mopping, dusting, and disinfecting surfaces regularly.
• Handle laundry duties efficiently by washing, folding, and organizing linens and towels to support overall hotel operations.
• Conduct routine floor care tasks such as buffing, stripping, waxing, and polishing to preserve the appearance of all flooring types.
• Restock supplies like toiletries, linens, and cleaning products to guarantee guest comfort and operational readiness.
• Report maintenance issues or damages promptly to ensure swift resolution and uphold safety standards.
• Follow health and safety protocols diligently to create a safe environment for guests and staff alike.

Experience

• Prior experience in hotel housekeeping or custodial roles is highly preferred; familiarity with hospitality standards will be advantageous.
• Demonstrated skills in cleaning techniques across various surfaces and materials.
• Knowledge of floor care procedures including industrial cleaning methods such as buffing and waxing.
• Experience with janitorial or custodial work in commercial or industrial settings is beneficial.
• Strong understanding of hospitality operations with an emphasis on customer service excellence.
• Ability to manage time efficiently while maintaining high-quality standards throughout shifts.
