Responsibilities

• Operate laundry equipment such as washers, dryers, and ironing machines to process linens, towels, uniforms, and guest clothing efficiently.
• Sort laundry items based on fabric type, color, and cleaning requirements to ensure proper handling.
• Perform cleaning tasks including stain removal, pressing, folding, and packaging of laundered items to meet quality standards.
• Manage dry cleaning processes for delicate or special fabrics requiring specialized treatment.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laundry area to promote safety and efficiency.
• Follow all safety protocols and proper handling procedures for chemicals and laundry machinery.
• Record laundry processing details accurately and report any equipment malfunctions or supply shortages promptly.

Requirements

• Previous experience in laundry services or hotel housekeeping is preferred but not required; training will be provided for motivated candidates.
• Knowledge of laundry techniques including washing, drying, stain removal, and ironing.
• Ability to operate laundry machinery safely and efficiently.
• Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality and cleanliness standards.
• Good physical stamina to stand for extended periods, lift heavy loads, and perform repetitive tasks.
• Basic understanding of safety procedures related to chemical handling and equipment operation.
