Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and skilled Hotel Maintenance Engineer to ensure the seamless operation and upkeep of our hotel facilities. In this vital role, you will be responsible for maintaining the physical infrastructure, troubleshooting mechanical and electrical issues, and ensuring all systems operate efficiently to provide guests with a safe, comfortable, and enjoyable stay. Responsibilities
- Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on building systems including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Troubleshoot and repair diverse issues involving hydraulics, electrical circuits (including high voltage and low voltage systems), and mechanical components using schematics and precision measuring instruments.
- Operate various tools and machinery such as scissor lifts, welding equipment (including <LOCATION> welding), and industrial mechanics tools to execute repairs effectively.
- Manage maintenance requests through the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS), documenting work orders, parts usage, and service histories accurately.
- Conduct field service activities across the manufacturing facility or hotel premises, ensuring compliance with safety standards and industry regulations.
- Collaborate with technical sales teams when necessary to recommend upgrades or new systems that enhance operational efficiency.
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, safety inspections, and system updates while adhering to schematics and technical manuals.
- Support emergency repairs promptly to minimize downtime and ensure guest safety at all times.
- Assist in training team members on safety procedures, equipment operation, and basic troubleshooting techniques.
Experience
- Proven industrial mechanic experience with a strong background in manufacturing facilities or similar environments.
- Extensive electrical experience including working with high voltage (<PERSON>) and low voltage systems; familiar with ammeters, ohmmeters, and other diagnostic tools.
- Knowledge of HVAC/R systems with the ability to troubleshoot heating, ventilation, air conditioning, refrigeration units, and related controls.
- Skilled in welding techniques (including <LOCATION> welding) along with the use of precision measuring instruments for quality assurance.
- Experience working with programmable logic controllers (PLCs), schematics interpretation, hydraulic systems, and CMMS platforms.
- Demonstrated ability to perform analysis skills for troubleshooting complex mechanical or electrical issues efficiently.
- Field service experience in manufacturing or industrial settings is highly desirable.
- Strong customer service orientation combined with excellent communication skills in English; military background is a plus for discipline-driven environments.
