Job Title: House Manager (Female)

Full-Time | Flexible Live-In or Live-Out

Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced, organised, and proactive House Manager (Female only) to oversee the daily operations of a private family residence. The ideal candidate will ensure the smooth running of the household, manage staff, coordinate children’s schedules, oversee supplies, and organise family events and gatherings from start to finish. This role requires strong leadership, discretion, and exceptional organisational skills.

Key Responsibilities

Household Operations

  • Oversee the day-to-day management of the residence
  • Ensure the home is fully stocked with all necessary supplies (food items, cleaning materials, household essentials)
  • Monitor inventory levels and manage purchasing and restocking
  • Maintain organization and high household standards

Children’s Schedule Coordination

  • Oversee and follow up on children’s daily schedules
  • Coordinate school timings, transportation, extracurricular activities, and appointments
  • Ensure meals are prepared and served according to schedule
  • Maintain communication with nannies and relevant staff regarding children’s needs

Staff Management

  • Supervise and manage all household staff including nannies, maids, and drivers
  • Prepare staff schedules and assign duties
  • Ensure high performance and accountability among team members
  • Handle staff coordination, performance reviews, and issue resolution

Event & Hospitality Management

  • Plan and manage family parties, gatherings, and invitations from A to Z
  • Coordinate guest lists, invitations, catering, décor, and entertainment
  • Oversee event setup and execution to ensure smooth and successful functions
  • Liaise with vendors and service providers

Vendor & Supply Management

  • Coordinate with suppliers and service providers
  • Ensure timely delivery of goods and services
  • Manage household service contracts and maintenance scheduling

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in household or estate management
  • Strong leadership and organisational skills
  • Experience managing household staff
  • Excellent communication skills
  • High level of discretion and professionalism
  • Ability to multitask and prioritise effectively
