Bayshore Nannies is a boutique nanny placement agency specializing in connecting exceptional families with experienced, career-minded childcare professionals throughout the Tampa Bay area. We are currently assisting a wonderful family on Davis Islands in their search for an experienced Household Manager to become a valued, long-term member of their household.

Their children include:

• A 15-year-old son who enjoys hockey, sports, working out, and spending time with friends.
• A 9-year-old daughter who loves musical theater, crafts, cooking, sports, and creative activities.

The family also has one friendly small Bernedoodle.

Schedule

This position will primarily follow an afternoon and early evening schedule, Monday through Friday, with approximately 25+ guaranteed hours per week.

The typical schedule will be:

• Monday – Friday
• Approximately 2:45 PM – 7:00/8:00 PM

There will also be opportunities for additional daytime hours throughout the week. On certain days, the family may ask the Family Assistant to begin earlier in the day to assist with household support before school dismissal.

These additional responsibilities may include:

• Grocery shopping
• Meal preparation
• Household organization
• Running occasional family errands
• Preparing for upcoming school or extracurricular activities
• Helping the family stay ahead of their weekly schedule

As trust develops, occasional additional hours may also be available for:

• Morning school transportation
• Transportation to appointments
• Late evening activities
• Overnight care when parents travel
• House sitting and dog sitting

The family values flexibility and is happy to provide additional hours for the right long-term candidate whenever their schedule allows.

Compensation & Benefits

• $30.00–$35.00 per hour, based on experience
• 25+ guaranteed hours each week
• Additional hours available as needed

Responsibilities

The Family Assistant / Nanny will play an important role in helping the household stay organized while providing exceptional care for the children.

Responsibilities include:

• Safely transporting the children to and from school, extracurricular activities, appointments, and other commitments
• Assisting with homework, studying, school projects, and maintaining consistent afternoon and evening routines
• Preparing healthy snacks and family dinners while assisting with meal clean-up
• Grocery shopping and occasional errands
• Helping organize the children's belongings, backpacks, activity items, and preparing for upcoming school days
• Monitoring the family calendar and anticipating upcoming household needs
• Supporting children's age-appropriate chores and responsibilities
• Maintaining open communication with the parents regarding schedules, activities, and any important updates

As the relationship develops, the Family Assistant may also assist with overnight care, house sitting, and pet care when the parents are away.

Qualifications

Qualified candidates should possess:

• A minimum of 2 years of professional nanny experience
• Experience caring for school-aged children and teenagers
• A valid driver's license with an excellent driving record
• A safe, reliable personal vehicle with current auto insurance
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Excellent communication skills
• The ability to work independently while anticipating the family's needs
• A warm, engaging, and professional personality
• Authorization to work in the United States
