Nanny/Household Manager in South Tampa

NANNY / HOUSEHOLD MANAGER – SOUTH TAMPA

Bayshore Nannies is currently assisting a wonderful South Tampa family in the search for a warm, organized, and proactive nanny / household manager to support their home and two boys, ages 9 and 7.

This is a long-term opportunity for a candidate who enjoys balancing childcare and household management responsibilities while becoming a trusted and dependable presence within the home. The family is seeking someone with a naturally engaging, “big sibling” personality — someone emotionally intelligent, active, organized, and confident helping maintain structure, consistency, and smooth household flow.

The boys are bright, active, and deeply connection-oriented children who thrive with warmth, patience, engagement, and strong relationships. One child is highly athletic, energetic, and constantly on the go, while the other is more artistic, musical, and emotionally intuitive. Both children respond best to a calm, emotionally aware caregiver who genuinely enjoys building meaningful bonds with children.

Position Details:

• Long-term position beginning August 3rd
• Monday–Friday schedule
• Typical hours approximately 11:00 AM – 6:00 PM
• Monday school pickup around 12:45 PM
• Tuesday–Friday school pickup around 1:45 PM
• Approximately 35 guaranteed hours per week
• Potential opportunity for expanded hours closer to 40/week for the right candidate
• Flexibility appreciated for occasional schedule adjustments or later evenings

Responsibilities:

• School pickups and transportation to activities
• Managing after-school routines and schedules
• Grocery shopping and household errands
• Meal prep support and recurring family meals
• Family laundry
• Loading and unloading the dishwasher
• Household organization and overall household support
• Helping maintain smooth household flow and day-to-day structure
• Light coordination of vendors or household appointments as needed

The family already has a weekly professional cleaning service, so this role is not deep-cleaning focused. The ideal candidate is someone who naturally notices what needs to be done and takes initiative to help keep the home organized and running smoothly.

• Family vehicle provided for work-related driving
• Household credit card provided for approved errands and purchases
• Occasional travel support appreciated, but not required

Compensation & Benefits:

• $25–$30/hour DOE
• Guaranteed hours
• PTO + sick days included
• All federal holidays off
• Paid via W-2 household payroll
