Housekeeper

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in various settings, ensuring a welcoming and hygienic environment for guests and staff. This role is essential in upholding our standards of hospitality and service excellence.

Duties

• Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, bathrooms, and common areas, ensuring all surfaces are sanitized and presentable.
• Carry out floor care duties, including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and polishing as required.
• Manage laundry services, including washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens and towels.
• Restock supplies such as toiletries, cleaning products, and linens in guest rooms and public areas.
• Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly.
• Follow established cleaning protocols to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Provide exceptional customer service by responding to guest requests in a timely manner.

Skills

• Strong cleaning skills with attention to detail in all tasks performed.
• Experience in floor care techniques and equipment operation.
• Previous hotel or hospitality experience is preferred to understand guest expectations.
• Familiarity with janitorial practices and industrial cleaning methods is a plus.
• Custodial experience that demonstrates the ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $14.00 - $15.50 per year
