Housekeeper

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in various settings, ensuring a welcoming and hygienic environment. This role is essential in providing exceptional service and supporting the overall operation of our facility. Previous experience in cleaning, hospitality, or janitorial services is highly valued, and a strong work ethic is essential for success.

Responsibilities

• Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, public areas, and facilities according to established standards
• Vacuum, sweep, mop, and polish floors to maintain a spotless appearance
• Change linens, make beds, and replenish supplies as needed
• Ensure all surfaces are sanitized and free of dust or debris
• Handle special cleaning tasks such as carpet cleaning or deep sanitation when required
• Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and notify management when supplies need replenishing
• Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards promptly
• Follow safety procedures and use cleaning chemicals responsibly to ensure a safe working environment

Experience

• Prior experience in cleaning, janitorial services, or hospitality preferred
• Knowledge of floor care techniques and equipment operation is a plus
• Experience with industrial cleaning or custodial work is advantageous
• Background in hotel housekeeping management or custodial supervision is beneficial but not required
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently or as part of a team
• Excellent time management skills to complete assigned tasks efficiently
