Housekeeper

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in hotel rooms. This role is essential in ensuring a welcoming environment for guests. The Housekeeper will perform a variety of cleaning tasks and uphold high standards of hygiene and cleanliness.

Duties

• Perform general cleaning tasks such as dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces.
• Maintain cleanliness in guest rooms, common areas, restrooms, and other designated spaces.
• Ensure proper use of cleaning supplies and equipment while adhering to safety protocols.
• Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly.
• Follow established housekeeping procedures to maintain high standards of cleanliness.
• Provide exceptional service to guests by addressing their needs and requests.

Skills

• Proficient in custodial practices and techniques for effective cleaning.
• Knowledgeable in floor care methods including sweeping, mopping, and polishing.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to clean thoroughly and efficiently.
• Experience in industrial cleaning or housekeeping management is a plus.
• Familiarity with hospitality environments such as hotels or residential care facilities is advantageous.
• Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
• Strong communication skills to interact positively with guests or residents.
