Housekeeper

JOB SUMMARY: The Housekeeper is responsible for all custodial functions to the complex and Anadarko are. Incumbent performs a full range of housekeeping duties in accordance with established housekeeping procedures and methods.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assists with the set-up/breakdown of events or special projects as needed. Sweeps, mops, and vacuums as needed.
• Keeps restrooms in a clean orderly and sanitary conditions. Empties waste baskets, trash cans from restrooms and offices.
• Disinfects floors and water fountains. Replace deodorizers, toilet tissues, paper towels, and soap dispensers
• Keeps corridors clean and accessible.
• Order supplies and equipment as needed.
• Must know what cleaners to use for certain areas such as toilets, sinks, floors, and windows. Performs other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• High School Diploma or Equivalent (GED).
• Must have two (2) years minimum experience in Housekeeping.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Must possess a valid Oklahoma driver’s license and be insurable under the Kiowa Tribe’s motor vehicle policy.
• Must be willing to submit to and pass drug testing.
• Must be willing to submit to and pass a background investigation.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORKING CONDITIONS:

• Must be able to lift and carry up to 50lbs.
• Must be able to do extensive movement such as bending, standing, stooping, and etc.
• Must be prepared to be on your feet all day.
