Summary:

The Housekeeper position at Socorro General Hospital in Socorro, New Mexico, offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact every day. Responsibilities:

Maintains all areas according to departmental standards.
Ensures proper infection control procedures when processing linen, trash, medical waste and performing cleaning tasks.
Maintains and uses housekeeping equipment properly and safely.
Reports pertinent information to supervisor or appropriate authority.
Performs departmental record keeping.
Performs all duties necessary to ensure appropriate linen and supply levels.
Performs floor care.

Qualifications:

Less than high school.
Less than one year experience in housekeeping
