Housekeeper

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in industrial cleaning, custodial work, or hospitality settings, and will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and order in various environments. This role is essential in ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for guests and staff alike, contributing to the overall success of our operations.

Responsibilities

• Perform thorough cleaning of assigned areas, including guest rooms, lobbies, hallways, and restrooms.
• Execute floor care tasks such as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and polishing to maintain high standards of cleanliness.
• Manage housekeeping supplies and report any maintenance issues or needed repairs.
• Ensure that all cleaning equipment is used safely and effectively.
• Adhere to health and safety regulations while performing cleaning duties.
• Provide exceptional customer service by responding promptly to guest requests and inquiries.
• Collaborate with other staff members to ensure a seamless operation within the facility.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in housekeeping management or a similar role is preferred.
• Knowledge of industrial cleaning techniques and custodial best practices.
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to cleanliness and hygiene standards.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent time management skills to ensure all tasks are completed efficiently.
• Familiarity with hotel operations and hospitality service standards is a plus.
• Physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks that may require standing for long periods and lifting moderate weights.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $12.25 - $13.00 per hour
