The Daughters of Charity, provides a safe, welcoming home for the retired Sisters of the Daughters of Charity Ministries. We offer independent living, assisted living and memory care and our team plays a vital role in creating an environment where Sisters feel respected.

We are currently seeking a Full Time Housekeeper to help maintain a clean, safe and comfortable environment for our Sister-residents, visitors and staff on our campus. This role reports to the Facilities Director.

What You'll Do

• Maintain general building interior including all assigned spaces including offices, rooms, parlors and other Sister-resident spaces.
• Trash Removal.
• Perform commercial and personal laundry duties.
• Clean and sanitize non-public bathrooms.
• Maintain guest rooms for visitors.

What We're Looking For

• Work independently while also collaborating effectively with the maintenance and care teams.
• Follow infection control, safety and standard precaution guidelines.
• Be attentive to detail and consistent in completing assigned tasks.
• Respect Sister-resident privacy and maintain professionalism and discretion at all times.
• Be reliable, punctual, and able to work assigned schedules.
• Experience in housekeeping, environmental services or custodial work (healthcare or senior living preferred)

Schedule: 7:00am - 3:30pm, some weekends and holidays required

Physical Demands: Must be physically able to efficiently perform the duties of the position, which may involve the following: standing and walking over 2/3 of the day, lifting up to 50 lbs., climbing, bending, reaching, and stooping for 1/3 to 2/3 of the day.
