Housekeeping

Job Purpose:

The Housekeeping Staff is responsible for maintaining cleanliness, hygiene, and orderliness in guest rooms, kitchens, bathrooms, and public areas. The goal is to provide guests with a clean, safe, and welcoming environment, ensuring a pleasant stay.

Key Responsibilities:

• Clean and tidy guest rooms, kitchens, bathrooms, and common areas according to daily schedules and hotel standards.
• Make beds, change linens, and replace towels and toiletries.
• Dust furniture, vacuum carpets, mop floors, and clean windows.
• Empty trash bins and properly dispose of waste.
• Restock cleaning supplies and room amenities as needed.
• Report any maintenance issues, damages, or lost items immediately to the supervisor.
• Follow all safety, hygiene, and security procedures.
• Handle guest requests politely and professionally.
• Ensure equipment and cleaning tools are used and stored properly.
• Assist with laundry and deep cleaning tasks when required.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Previous housekeeping experience preferred (not mandatory).
• Good physical stamina and ability to work on your feet for long hours.
• Attention to detail and cleanliness.
• Basic communication skills in English.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Willingness to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.

Working Conditions:

• Full-time position.
• Rotational shifts (morning/evening).
• May require overtime during busy seasons.
• Uniform and cleaning equipment provided.

• Maintain a high standard of cleanliness in all assigned areas.
• Follow cleaning schedules and complete tasks on time.
• Provide excellent service to guests at all times.
• Report issues promptly to avoid delays or complaints.

Pay: AED900.00 - AED1,700.00 per month
