Position: Housekeeping Aide

Location: Boynton Beach, Florida

Shift: Full-Time | 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM

Pay Rate: $15 per hour

Job Summary

Isles of Boynton Nursing and Rehabilitation Center is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Housekeeping Aide to help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for our residents, visitors, and staff. This role is essential in supporting infection control, resident comfort, and overall facility operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform daily housekeeping duties as assigned
• Clean and sanitize resident rooms, bathrooms, hallways, stairways, elevators, and common areas
• Dust, polish, and disinfect furnishings, fixtures, windows, mirrors, walls, and ceilings
• Sweep, mop, strip, wax, buff, and disinfect floors
• Vacuum, shampoo, deodorize, and disinfect carpets
• Properly mix and use cleaning chemicals per manufacturer and SDS guidelines
• Follow infection control, HIPAA, fire safety, and workplace safety policies
• Use appropriate safety equipment when lifting or moving heavy objects
• Coordinate housekeeping services with nursing staff as needed
• Report accidents, incidents, hazardous conditions, or equipment issues promptly
• Turn in lost-and-found items to a supervisor
• Participate in required in-service training programs
  
  
  

Candidate Requirements

• Ability to work independently and follow written and verbal instructions
• Strong attention to cleanliness, safety, and detail
• Ability to accept feedback and adapt to new cleaning methods and procedures
• Capable of properly handling cleaning supplies, chemicals, and equipment
• Must maintain professionalism and confidentiality at all times
  
  
  

Experience

• Nursing home experience preferred, but not required
