Housekeeping Assistant

Duties

• Perform thorough cleaning of residential, commercial, or industrial spaces using appropriate cleaning supplies and equipment
• Conduct floor care activities such as buffing, mopping, sweeping, and carpet cleaning to maintain a polished appearance
• Assist with custodial tasks including trash removal, dusting, window washing, and restroom sanitation
• Support facilities maintenance by identifying minor repairs or safety hazards and reporting them promptly
• Execute specialized cleaning projects like industrial cleaning or deep sanitation procedures as needed
• Maintain cleanliness standards by following established protocols and safety guidelines
• Use janitorial experience to ensure all areas meet health and safety regulations while creating a welcoming environment

Qualifications

• Proven experience in cleaning, janitorial work, custodial duties or related fields
• Knowledge of floor care techniques including buffing and polishing surfaces
• Familiarity with commercial cleaning practices and industrial cleaning procedures
• Ability to perform basic maintenance tasks such as minor repairs or painting support
• Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
• Physical stamina to stand, bend, lift, and move equipment throughout shifts

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $11.00 - $12.00 per hour
