Job Title: Housekeeping & Cleaning Training Manager

Job Purpose:

To lead and enhance Power Group Facilities Management’s training strategy for housekeeping and cleaning teams by developing best-in-class training programs aligned with international cleaning standards and global certifications such as BICSc, ISSA, and GBAC.
This role supports Power Group’s commitment to delivering smart, sustainable, and technology-driven service excellence across all facilities management operations in the UAE.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and deliver structured housekeeping and cleaning training programs aligned with international FM standards and client requirements.
  • Integrate BICSc, ISSA, and GBAC cleaning and hygiene protocols into Power Group’s training framework.
  • Develop and maintain SOPs, checklists, and training materials tailored to multiple service environments, including commercial buildings, healthcare facilities, industrial sites, and residential communities.
  • Implement and promote infection prevention, environmental hygiene, and biorisk cleaning protocols through GBAC-aligned training modules.
  • Utilize Power Group’s Learning Management System (LMS) and digital tools to deliver, monitor, and evaluate training effectiveness.
  • Conduct site audits, skills assessments, and refresher training to ensure consistent quality and compliance across all operations.
  • Enhance employee engagement and learning retention through innovative methods such as mobile learning, video tutorials, gamification, and digital certification badges.
  • Collaborate with Operations, Quality, and HR teams to ensure training programs align with KPIs, client expectations, and operational excellence.
  • Support new staff onboarding, subcontractor induction, and project mobilization training across all FM divisions.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Facilities Management, Hospitality, Training, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in housekeeping or cleaning management/training within the Facilities Management industry.
  • In-depth knowledge of BICSc, ISSA, and GBAC standards and certification processes.
  • Proven experience using Learning Management Systems (LMS) and digital learning tools.
  • Strong leadership, facilitation, and communication skills with the ability to train multicultural workforces.
  • Passionate about innovation, sustainability, and technology-led learning in FM operations.
  • Valid UAE Driving License is mandatory.

Preferred Certifications:

  • BICSc Certified Trainer or Assessor
  • GBAC Certified Technician
  • ISSA CIMS Certification
  • Train-the-Trainer (TOT) Certification or equivalent
