Housekeeping Supervisor (Female)

Specific Duties and responsibilities :

· Report for duty on time

· Prepares housekeeping attendants job assignment.

· Issuing keys and supplies to room attendants

· Take note of VIPs, DND, Sleep out, Double lock rooms and takes appropriate action.

· Attends daily meetings and receives special instructions.

· Receives check outs before reporting them as ready for sale.

· Receives special request from guests and caries them out.

· Attends to guest complaints.

· Inspects areas cleaned using check list to see that cleaning is adequate, supplies in the rooms are as per standard, and need for immediate repairs are reported.

· Makes trouble report for room or item in need of repair and follow up to ensure work is completed satisfactory

· Fills out report and hands over found articles to the lost and found department.

· Supervises cleaning of guest rooms, corridors and stairwells.

· Trains and assists room attendants and advices executive housekeeper if performance is not satisfactory.

· Supervises special cleaning rooms.

· Checks and orders supplies for designated floors. .

· Assists with inventory.

· Ensure that all housekeeping machines and equipment are properly handled.

· Greet guest in courteous and polite manner at all times.

· Report to housekeeping office of guests who have pets, cooking equipment’s & dangerous possession in the room

· Attends daily briefing

· Reports to work well groomed

· Adheres to the strict rules and regulations pertaining to key security.

2 .General responsibilities:

· To promote efficiency, confidence, courtesy and an extremely high standard of social skills.

· To generally promote and ensure good inter-department relations.

· To display a pleasant manner and positive attitude at all times and to promote a good company image to guest and colleagues.

· To demonstrate pride in the workplace and personal appearance at all time when representing the hotel thus identifying a high level of commitment.

· To adhere to company and hotel rules and regulations at all times.

3 . Occasional Responsibilities:

· To report any equipment failure/problems to the maintenance department.

· To pass any maintenance requests to the maintenance department.

· To participate in any Training/Developments schemes as recommended by senior management.

· Assist the duty manager in any task outlined/detailed by him/her

· To comply with any reasonable request made by management to the beat of your ability.

4 .Legal Responsibilities:

· Ensure that the standards required by law and by management are maintained at all times in the areas specified above

Main Requirements:

· Hotel Experience.

· Eye for detail.

· Knowledge of Opera, excel, word and power point.

· Leader ship skills.

· Team player & Time management skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED3,300.00 - AED4,200.00 per month
