General Supervisor of Cleaning and Housekeeping Services

Responsibilities

Responsible for coordinating the planning and execution of the Annual Cleaning Plan in compliance with Facilities Management Services Provider (FMS) to ensure all relevant contractual SLA's and industry standards, including BICS.

Responsible for reviewing training standards for all FMS, soft services (Cleaning and Housekeeping) staff and providing feedback against industry best practice.

Responsible for the implementation of the PMS Procedure including observations / NCRs to ensure the FMS is complying with contractual deliverables, SLA's and health, safety and environmental standards, to ensure a continual improvement process is fully embedded.

Contract Scope of Work Requirements
  • To oversee and guide activities of FM contractor and subcontractors' personnel to ensure complete and satisfactory performance of the work defined in the contract relating to all facility soft services.
  • Implement continuous improvement in all services lines to drive value, add and control costs.
  • Ownership of KPI's and metrics to manage performance and governance process for daily management operations.
  • Ensuring soft services are provided by managing contractors and suppliers per scope of work.
  • Supervisory role involves contract performance management, people's management, decision making, root cause analysis, inspection and audit, readiness, communication, management of planning/scheduling and assignment, and drive overall improvement of productivity.
  • Meet with all standard operating procedures, codes, and regulations, ensuring that the BICSc standards are being delivered by the service contractor across the portfolio and share best practices.
  • Ensure areas and processes are in optimum condition for audit readiness and compliance.
  • Execute daily building inspections, and monthly job walks ensuring contracted scope is met.
  • Monitor all on ground activities handled by FM.
  • Ensure that the preparation of all areas is in readiness for the use by VVIP guests to maximize a positive experience, including but not limited to the following:
  • Ensure all Housekeeping activities, including laundry, linen cleaning, and replenishment are completed to a very high standard.
  • Ensure approved consumable items are available in all areas as per the agreed schedule, including tissue, toiletries, etc.
