As a Room Attendant, you play a vital role in shaping the guest experience through impeccable standards of cleanliness, thoughtful touches, and intuitive service. Key Responsibilities
- Clean and reset guest rooms according to hotel standards, including changing linens, towels, and replenishing all amenities.
- Sanitize bathrooms thoroughly, including toilets, showers, bathtubs, vanity surfaces, and floors.
- Dust and polish all furniture, fixtures, and surfaces with attention to detail.
- Vacuum, sweep, and mop floors to maintain a pristine environment.
- Ensure all robes, glasses, and in-room items are clean, well-stocked, and presented neatly.
- Inspect rooms post-cleaning to confirm they are guest-ready and meet Nine Orchard’s cleanliness standards.
- Respond promptly and professionally to guest requests (e.g., extra amenities, towels).
- Attend daily pre-shift meetings to receive updates on operations and assignments.
- Assist with deep cleaning tasks as scheduled, including scrubbing walls, tiles, and fixtures.
- Disinfect high-touch surfaces such as doorknobs, remote controls, and light switches.
- Check under beds and furniture for debris or lost items; report any found property to Lost & Found.
- Report maintenance issues, damages, or missing items to the Housekeeping Manager.
- Restock and organize executive carts and housekeeping trolleys at the end of each shift.
- Replace floral arrangements weekly with fresh orchids; maintain vases with clean water.
- Support the team by occasionally assisting in public area cleaning or taking on houseman duties.
- Maintain guest privacy and respect confidentiality while working in guest rooms.
- Collaborate with management on special projects or additional housekeeping needs.
Qualifications
- Previous housekeeping experience in a luxury or boutique hotel preferred.
- High attention to detail and a commitment to excellence in cleanliness and presentation.
- Strong communication skills and a warm, courteous manner.
- Ability to manage time efficiently and work independently with minimal supervision.
- Must be able to stand, move, bend, and lift up to 40 lbs throughout an entire shift.
- Flexible schedule, including availability on weekends, evenings, and holidays.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $65,000.00 per year
