Housekeeping Manager

Core Responsibilities

• Cleaning & Sanitizing: Dusting, vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, polishing furniture, cleaning bathrooms (toilets, showers, mirrors), and disinfecting surfaces.
• Linen Management: Changing bed sheets, towels, washing, drying, ironing, and stocking linen closets.
• Supply Management: Restocking toiletries, cleaning products, and guest amenities; monitoring inventory.
• Trash Removal: Collecting and disposing of waste and recycling.
• Equipment Care: Using, cleaning, and storing cleaning equipment properly.

Key Duties (Commercial/Hotel Specific)

• Guest Service: Responding to guest requests, maintaining guest privacy, and handling lost & found items.
• Reporting: Notifying supervisors of maintenance needs, damages, or safety hazards.

Essential Skills & Qualities

• Attention to detail, organization, and efficiency.
• Ability to work independently or in a team.
• Good physical condition (standing, bending, lifting).
• Knowledge of cleaning techniques and hygiene standards.
• Discretion and respect for privacy (especially in homes/hotels).
