Housekeeping Manager

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and coordinate all housekeeping staff to ensure efficient daily operations and adherence to quality standards
  • Develop and implement cleaning schedules, procedures, and training programs to maintain high levels of cleanliness and safety
  • Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces to ensure compliance with cleanliness protocols
  • Manage inventory of cleaning supplies, equipment, and linens, ensuring cost-effective usage and timely replenishment
  • Lead by example in performing cleaning tasks in rooms- such as making beds, dusting, vacuuming, scrubbing bathrooms, etc.
  • Address guest requests or complaints promptly to guarantee a positive experience and uphold service excellence
  • Foster a team-oriented environment by providing coaching, feedback, and ongoing development opportunities

Qualifications

  • 3 years proven experience in housekeeping management within the hospitality industry or similar settings. Preferably IHG, Marriott, or Hilton brands
  • Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques, floor care methods, and janitorial best practices
  • Familiarity with hotel operations, guest service standards, and hospitality industry expectations
  • Experience with industrial cleaning equipment and custodial processes
  • Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams and manage multiple priorities effectively
  • Exceptional attention to detail combined with organizational prowess
  • Ability to stand for extended periods, lift moderate loads, and perform physically demanding tasks as needed

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
