Housekeeping Manager

Job Description

Our team is looking to add an experienced and motivated Housekeeping Manager to lead all housekeeping operations and ensure the highest standards of cleanliness, organization, and guest satisfaction throughout the property. To be successful in this role, you will need strong leadership abilities, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to manage a team in a fast-paced hospitality environment.

Duties:

  • Oversee all housekeeping operations, including guest rooms, public areas, laundry, and storage areas
  • Manage, train, schedule, and supervise housekeeping staff
  • Conduct inspections to ensure cleanliness and hotel quality standards are consistently maintained
  • Develop and maintain cleaning procedures and operational standards
  • Ensure housekeeping staff follows safety policies and proper sanitation procedures
  • Monitor inventory levels and order housekeeping supplies as needed
  • Coordinate with front desk and maintenance departments to ensure efficient operations and guest satisfaction
  • Handle guest concerns and special requests related to housekeeping services
  • Manage staff performance, attendance, and productivity
  • Assist with hiring, onboarding, and training new team members
  • Prepare schedules and manage labor costs effectively
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and health and safety regulations

Skills:

  • Previous housekeeping management experience in hospitality preferred
  • Strong leadership and team management abilities
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Strong attention to detail and quality standards
  • Knowledge of housekeeping operations, cleaning procedures, and safety practices
  • Exceptional customer service and guest relations skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple priorities
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Computer proficiency and experience with hotel management systems is a plus
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) is an asset

  • 8 hour shift
  • Weekends as needed
  • Holidays as needed
  • Day shift / Evening shift availability preferred

Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
